This is Spooky. He and his wife, Yoko, have been together for many tense, hostile, unhappy years. Spooky is often depressed and spends most of his time out drinking, away from his hellish homelife. He and Yoko avoid each other all they can, but when they do eventually confront one another, it usually ends in violence, tears and raised voices. Spooky wants to know why that dumb bitch Yoko hasn't made dinner or done the fucking laundry in 3 days and Yoko wants to know why emotionally unavailable Spooky hasn't touched her in God knows how long. After these squabbles, Spooky usually goes to the bar and hits on young college girls before stumbling home, blind drunk, at 3 in the morning.
This is Yoko. She and Spooky were married when they were teenagers. It was a shotgun wedding due to an accidental pregnancy which ended in a miscarriage, and she and Spooky have never been happy together, but divorce was never an option, due mostly to Yoko's very strict, religious family and her father's violent tendencies. Now, after many years together, she and Spooky both know that they are too old to start new, seperate lives, and staying married just seems to be the easiest, cheapest option at this point. Yoko is as unhappy with the marriage as Spooky is, and would be extremely depressed about the way her life has turned out, but she suppresses these feelings with martinis, soap operas and painkillers.
This is Avalanche. He is Yoko's younger brother and lives with the couple in their suburban home. Avalanche is unemployed and lives off of his disability check, which he receives as a result of a "back injury" from his job as a construction worker. He lost his license due to one too many DUI's and now only leaves the house to crash frat parties, where he drinks half the keg by himself and usually ends up passed out on the lawn with his pants unbuttoned and his shirt missing. Avalanche generally spends his days on the couch, watching Court TV and drinking Amstel Light.
